VPS Terms and Conditions
The eHosting VPS Terms and Conditions following are additional to the QXTN Standard Form of Agreement found at www.qxtn.net. Please review these before agreeing with the VPS Terms and Conditions.
VPS Limits
The VPS will be provided with CPU, RAM, Disk Space and Domain Name limits as per the ordering form. All VPS are connected to the Internet via an unmetered, fair use link. These limits form your agreement with eHosting by QXTN.
VPS Internet Fair Use Policy
The VPS Internet link is provided on a fair use basis. Each VPS has a 100mbps link to the Internet. A fully populated VPS is expected to use more Internet data than a lightly loaded VPS, however we do not expect VPS to constantly saturate the link. Should a VPS use a statistically larger portion (compared to all other VPS) of the provided Internet link for more than 20 minutes of any one hour block for more than six hours of a 24 hour period, the Internet link to that VPS will be throttled to bring the usage back to a more fair and equitable use.
VPS Use and Misuse
The VPS allows access via SSH for management purposes. sudo root access is enabled for the management user. The use of root access is not to be used to remove or mitigate the VPS limits, misuse the Internet link or otherwise compromise eHosting by QXTN’s systems and management of the VPS.
The VPS is provided for predominantly Web Server and Email hosting. The VPS must not be used for disk, CPU or Internet link intensive purposes such as (but not limited to) –
- Crypto-mining
- Game hosting
- Internet or network IP scanning
- Hosting of bulk video files
