Is my VPS actually private?
When QXTN provides you with a VPS (Virtual Private Server), we create a server just for your use. You will control that server and maintain it, allowing access to it by controlling all the usernames and passwords, on-server firewalls and other security.
QXTN will ask for an emergency password to be created on the server, but this is for risk management purposes only.
If your server is directly connected to the Internet, it will have direct Internet access. If we configure a VRF (A virtual private network), your server will be connected to the private network and access the Internet via a hardware Firewall unit.
Your server will be as private as you configure it to be.
